Reporting & Analytics in Microsoft Dynamics CRM – Part 1

February 26, 2015 – (Recording Available) Microsoft Dynamics CRM has built-in tools that allow almost any user the capability to create their own personal views, reports, charts and dashboards without needing to be a developer. This two-part series explores how to use the reporting and analytic tools already included in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

In Part 1 of the series, we will demonstrate how to use the following features:

– Advanced Find: Use Advanced Find to take searching to another level in CRM. Use this tool to search for records that meet multiple criteria. With the results generated we will explore actions that can be performed on the records as well as export capabilities.

– Personal Views: Using the Advanced Find tool, you can create your own personal views for records you can access in CRM. Personal views that you create and own are only visible to you by default.

– Reports: Take your Personal Views to the next level by using the Report Wizard in CRM. The Report Wizard includes additional functionality such as grouping, summaries and adding charts. We will also explore the export/save capabilities with report in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
