We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Intern to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience in sales support, lead generation, marketing execution, and market research. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This internship provides an opportunity to develop essential skills in both sales and marketing while contributing to real business initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Sales Support & Lead Generation
- Conduct market research and identify potential leads.
- Maintain and update CRM records to ensure accurate lead tracking and reporting.
- Assist in data cleanup, segmentation, and reporting for sales initiatives.
- Marketing Support
- Assist in executing marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and content marketing.
- Track and analyze campaign performance and lead conversions.
- Help create marketing collateral such as blogs, case studies, and sales decks.
- Support the design team by providing research, copy, or feedback for visual content.
- Competitive & Market Research
- Research competitors, industry trends, and emerging opportunities.
- Monitor and summarize relevant industry news, reports, and customer insights.
- Generate reports on lead generation, campaign effectiveness, and market trends.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Event & Webinar Coordination
- Support event planning, logistics, and follow-up activities.
- Assist in tracking engagement and ROI from events.
- Help manage guest lists, promotional efforts, and post-event surveys.
- Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align messaging and strategies.
- Participate in team meetings to contribute insights and learn from cross-functional collaboration.
- Assist with scheduling sales meetings, coordinating internal communications, and organizing shared resources.
- Customer & Prospect Engagement
- Support customer and prospect engagement by assisting with follow-ups, surveys, and feedback collection.
- Assist in responding to basic inquiries via email or social channels to enhance brand engagement.
Qualifications
- Freshman or higher college student in good standing
- Must be a Doyon Shareholder
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with LinkedIn, email marketing platforms, or content creation tools is a plus.
- 3.0 overall GPA
- Valid Driver’s license, ready access to a registered vehicle and must be able to provide proof of state required insurance on registered vehicle
Working Environment
The majority of work for this role is performed in a home office and interacts with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities, and abilities. Telecommuters are expected to have sufficient home office space that appears neat, organized, and professional when on video meetings.
