Privacy Policy and Cookies

This Privacy Policy describes the information that Arctic IT, collects through the arcticit.com website (the “Site”) and how we use it, how we protect it and the choices you can make about your information. Throughout this document, Privacy Policy “information” includes personal information about you. By accessing the Site, you expressly consent to the collection, use, disclosure and storage of your information and other information received by us as a result of such use in accordance with this Privacy Policy.       • Personal identifying information, work/life experience and past conviction history, if you are submitting your candidacy for a job with Arctic IT and;
      • Any other information you voluntarily provide us with including your comments and other content in connection with using the Site.
    2. Third party social networking sites: We use or link to various third-party social media networking sites such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter which send information to, and receive information from the Site, in accordance with our user agreements with them. Any information we may receive through a third-party social networking service may be used as described in this Privacy Policy.
    3. We may automatically collect other information about you, including:
      • Web browser type;
      • Your Internet Protocol (IP) address;
      • Domain name of your Internet service provider;
      • Your geographic location;
      • The Site pages that you visit and the time of your visits; and
      • Aggregated information that cannot be used to specifically identify you when you use or visit the Site.

  1.  Third Parties:  We may use third parties to perform functions in connection with the Site, for example Google Analytics; other tools may include: web hosting, web design client surveys), (social media recruiting), or others. We also link to our parent company (Doyon Limited).
  2. Parent and Affiliates:  We may also share your information with any Company department or other subsidiary affiliates of the Doyon family of companies for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy. Any subsidiary or affiliate of ours will be required to maintain that information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Our web site contains links to web sites of subsidiary or affiliates in the Doyon family of companies which, if used, may allow those web sites to gather information about you in accordance with their respective privacy policies (which Arctic IT does not control).
  3. Investigations and Law:  Regardless of the choices you make regarding your information (as described below) and to the extent permitted by applicable law, we may disclose information about you to third parties to:
      • Comply with law, in response to subpoenas, warrants, or court orders, or in connection with any legal process or to cooperate with government or law enforcement officials or private parties;
      • Protect our rights, reputation, safety and property, or that of our users or others;
      • Protect against legal liability;
      • Establish or exercise our rights to defend against legal claims; or
      • To investigate, prevent or take action regarding suspected illegal activities, suspected fraud, the rights, reputation, safety or property of Arctic IT or the Doyon family of companies, users or others, violation of our policies or agreements or as otherwise required by law.
  4. Aggregated Anonymous Information: We may share aggregated anonymous information relating to visitors to and users of the Site with affiliated or unaffiliated third parties.

We, along with third parties, use cookies.

  4. Use of cookies: Third parties may use cookies to collect personally identifiable information about an individual user’s online activities over time and across different websites when a user uses the Site.
  5. Google Analytics: This website uses Google Analytics. We may collect information about your computer, including your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to create reports. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns and does not identify any individual.
    1. Google Analytics is a web analytics tool that helps website owners understand how visitors engage with their website. Google Analytics customers can view a variety of reports about how visitors interact with their website so that they can improve it.  Like many services, Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to track visitor interactions as in our case, where they are used to collect information about how visitors use our site. We then use the information to compile reports and to help us improve our site.
    2. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. These cookies are used to store information, such as the time that the current visit occurred, whether the visitor has been to the site before and what site referred the visitor to the web page.  Google Analytics collects information anonymously. It reports website trends without identifying individual visitors.   6. Google Tag Manager: Google Tag Manager (GTM”) is a tag management system to manage JavaScript and HTML tags used for tracking and analytics on websites. Tags are small code elements that, among other things, are used to measure traffic and visitor behavior: to understand the effect of online advertising and social channels; to set up remarketing and orientation towards target groups; and to test and optimize websites.   7. Facebook Cookies: We use the “Custom Audience pixel” of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”) on our website. With its help, we can keep track of what users do after they see or click on a Facebook advertisement. This enables us to monitor the effectiveness of Facebook ads for purposes of statistics and market research. Data collected in this way is anonymous to us, which means we cannot see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is saved and processed by Facebook.   8. ClickDimensions: Web tracking via ClickDimensions: Web Tracking gives us insight on how our website is being used and records the traffic that accesses it. We can see which pages have been clicked on, how long you spent on a certain page, and how users got to our website, among other valuable information. SECURITY

While we take reasonable administrative, physical and organizational measures to protect the information you submit via the Site against loss, theft and unauthorized use, disclosure, or modification, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. No Internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error free. Email sent to or from the Site may not be secure. You should use caution whenever submitting information online and take special care in deciding what information you send to us via email.
