Career Summary
While in high school, Sonya’s first IT job was to build a company webpage after teaching herself HTML, which then parlayed into studying computer programming in college. After a successful software development career for a large global bank, she managed a help desk at Pearl Harbor and then developed biometrics programs for the Social Security Administration. She then applied her technical skills as a Program Manager to lead nationwide deployments of both identity access management and real time location systems for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Sonya then managed supply chain and asset tracking solution implementations for global retailers based in North America and Europe before joining Arctic IT in January 2018.

Traveling with her husband (Caribbean is a favorite destination), golfing, cooking for family and friends, and spoiling her Great Pyrenees
