This summer internship is for Doyon Shareholders. 

Job Summary

This internship is designed for a student with little or no prior experience who is eager to learn business operations. The intern will receive training and support while assisting the Director of Federal Growth and their team with administrative tasks, including document organization, record keeping, and tracking updates across the growth → proposal → contract workflow.

Essential Functions

EXPERIENCES TO EXPECT:

  • Drafting clear internal emails, meeting notes, and action-item recaps using provided templates
  • Managing assigned tasks and deadlines for proposals, contracting, and sales support activities
  • Using Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive/SharePoint) to support coordination and document work
  • Learning internal systems and processes (CRM, contract repository, Teams/SharePoint) and completing basic updates and file organization
  • Supporting contract administration (file setup, intake packets, simple data entry, milestone/mod tracking, approval package assembly, closeout support)
  • Supporting proposal administration (formatting, version control, file naming, assembling sections/appendices, basic compliance checklists)
  • Helping maintain reusable content libraries (proposal content, templates, standard language) and internal process documentation (DevOps Wiki)
  • Supporting sales pipeline hygiene (basic data entry, ensuring required fields are complete, tagging documents)
  • Supporting the updating of internal processes in the DevOps Wiki library

Qualifications

  • Freshman or higher college student in good standing
  • Must be a Doyon Shareholder

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 3.0 overall GPA
  • Valid Driver’s license, ready access to a registered vehicle and must be able to provide proof of state required insurance on registered vehicle

Working Environment

The majority of work for this role is performed in a home office and interacts with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities, and abilities.  Telecommuters are expected to have sufficient home office space that appears neat, organized, and professional when on video meetings.
